The Dumagat Tribe in Aurora. Dumagats origin is the same as Aeta's in Northern Luzon. Their ancestral origin is traced from Negrito's which is one of the earliest inhabitants in the Philippines. They are found in the coastal area so-called Brgy. Dibut San Luis Aurora.
When we communicate to them they are so jolly, and it is nice to talk to them. The children was happily playing around, some of the Dumagats was very busy to dried the Copra means dried meat or kernel of the coconut, which is the fruit of the coconut palm. Coconut oil is extracted from , copra making it an important agricultural commodity for many coconut-producing countries. Some of them set out to the sea to catch fish for selling or for their foods. They are very kind people but some of the citizens here is not a Dumagat they are a foreign who fell inlove with the dumagat and live with them to this place.
